A man that his birthplace forgot, Toshiya was left in the back of a trading caravan, moving between The Steppe and Kugane, not much later than his birth, due to being born weak and sickly. After being dropped at the Kugane orphanage by the caravan's driver, Toshi grew up first in the rundown orphanage and then, in the streets of Kugane. After a very turbulent and rough childhood, as he reached his adolescent years, Toshi went into an incredible growth spurt. Changing from the scrawny, skinny kid into a walking wall of muscle in a frightening speed, Toshi gathered many eyes upon him as a young adult. Mostly, the unsavory kind. Lured with the tales of money, power and women, Toshi was inducted into the ranks of Yakuza. Intent on taking advantage of his size and power, the heads of the clan he was taken in by immediately shipped him off to different martial arts dojo's. Training in many different kinds of arts, Toshi mostly took up on one that is a mix of Kyokushin Karate, Muai Thai and Wrestling from our world. Returning as a top notch fighter, Toshi was thrown into the world of prize fighting, becoming one of the best cage fighters in Kugane underworld. But, things came to head as the time went on and it became too dangerous for him to stay in the city anymore. Taking his leave, and falling into odds with the small clan, Toshi made his way into Eorzea, specifically Ul'dah. After wandering aimlessly for a while, the same happened again. Drawing eyes from one of the most powerful criminal organizations of Ul'dah, The Sect, he begun again and slowly made his way to the top of the organization, becoming the left hand of The Kingpin.
